Guided tour of the castle and non-guided visit to the park. Once the residence of Jacques de la Palice, this castle from the 12th, 15th and 16th centuries is now home to the 30th generation of the same family. It houses a collection of historic memorabilia as well as the only Italian Renaissance-style coffered ceilings in Europe. It is classified as a Historical Monument. A riddle game based on the history of the castle is designed for children up to the age of 13: "Deviens jeune et noble compagnon de la Palice"(Become a young and noble companion of de la Palice), as well as a contest for the best truism. The leafy 6-hectare park contains 200 year-old chestnut trees. A path leads to two pond
